Right now, I have this idea of doing short review of 3 products I used the most previous week. Planing to do this post every Saturday or Sunday. Products I will review today are: Tokyo Love Soap Premium, Keims Body Scrub and Aura Oil Absorbing Sheets(Blotting paper).

Tokyo Love Soap Premium

I have to start with Tokyo Love Soap because I have been using it for almost a year now so this review is long overdue. It’s really popular in Japan, and all the Korean bloggers are raving about that too. Some of the benefits that are promised are:

-Radient skin

-Lightens the skin as early as the first use

-Help reduce fine lines, wrinkles and scars

-Longer moisturizing benefits

-Refines body hair for a smoother look (Only affects fine hairs. Does not affect the hair, eyebrows and eyelashes.)

-Remove discolorations, freckles, melasma, age spots and dark spots (evens out skin tone)

-Make pores smaller

This soap exceeded my expectations. I don’t have any discolorations, real wrinkles or scars, but as for everything else-it did everything and more! At first I just washed my face with it every morning and indeed, my pores were way smaller, my skin glowing and soft. After a while I started using it for my whole body too. The only minus I could find is that it dries out my skin so I have to apply cream right after, but that’s because I have dry skin and it’s not a problem since I’m used to putting on cream right after I’m out of the shower.

Also the soap is really big(so it lasts for like a month or even more, it’s crazy!)

Would I buy it again?

Yes. I already ordered 2 more.

Where I got it from:

You can get it on the official online store here. There are a lot of fake ones on Ebay and Amazon, so it’s better to be safe than sorry. There are lots of different kinds of Tokyo Love Soaps, so I suggest reading the benefits of each one until you find the one that has those that you need.

Keims Body Scrub

I got this scrub on Monday, on Harper’s Bazaar Blogger Brunch, as a part of the Purity Box, monthly subscription organic beauty box. The scrub got my attention right now because I liked the packaging and because it had a strange fruity healthy smell and strawberry jam texture. I couldn’t find the full ingredient list, but main ones are: Red tea, mimosa, amber and rosehip seed. Since I’m into crystals(and stones), they bought me with amber as an ingredient. The benefits of this scrub are:

-Removes dead cells

-Smooth and luminous skin

-Skin regeneration

I massaged my body with this scrub for 5 minutes before I went for a shower. My skin was sooo soft after! I was so afraid that this would not suit my skin because it’s dry, but somehow this scrub is moisturizing so it left my skin smooth and soft. I will definitely use this twice a week from now on. After I used it on my face, I put BB cream on, and it looked like I was wearing nothing, like I had naturally porcelain-like skin, got lots of compliments that day. I did take a picture with it on, but since it’s dark red, it looked like I was bathing in virgin blood or something, anyway it looked so explicit that I couldn’t post it here xD Also, it’s worth mentioning the box is big and little bit goes a long way, so it should last you a long while.

Would I buy it again?

Yes! I already got it for a friend too:)

Where I got it from:

As I mentioned, I got it here as part of the Purity Box. The price of the box monthly is 12 euros which is pretty good considering I got a massage oil(will try it out with my best friend), anti aging serum(gave it to mom) and this scrub which is altogether worth more than 50 e. If you like your products organic, or if you have really sensitive skin, this is for you.

Aura Matte Perfect Oil Absorbing Sheets

Sometimes when I put bb cream on, my skin glows and looks kinda oily(even tho I have dry skin) so this is where blotting paper comes in handy (or hours later when I’ve danced for hours in the club and I get sweaty and I want to remove the drops without removing my make up). I tried some other brand’s blotting paper long time ago and it didn’t work for me. I am not sure if I was just not that good at make up yet, or it just sucked, but after that I didn’t ever wish to buy it again. Then on one photoshoot, make up artist used Aura’s Oil Absorbing Sheet on my face so that all the flashing wouldn’t ruin my make up, and it worked perfectly. I was under the impression it worked because this MUA was really good, but as soon as I got my own pack of these sheets I realized they were easy to use, so now I carry it in my bag wherever I go:)

Would I buy it again?

Yes, I WILL.

Where I got it from:

I got it here. It’s Aura’s official web store.

I hope you enjoyed this, have a great weekend! xx
